Lawson's Dry Hills Pinot Gris 2011
www.wineoftheweek.com Sue Courtney -
Lawson's Dry Hills Pinot Gris 2011 is straw gold in colour and has a tantalising tropical fruit aroma that's infused with tangelo zest. It seduces me instantly, as do the juicy and delicious flavours. Crammed with apples, pears, citrus and honeydew melon. There are some classic Pinot Gris characters and a bready richness to the finish that suggests a decent length of time on yeast lees.

Youthful and full of ripe flavours - peach, pear, pineapple and floral. The palate is succulent and silky smooth with subtle sweetness and nicely integrated acidity. Richly textured and fabulously long on the finish.

Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2011
Raymond Chan Wine Reviews Raymond Chan -
FIVE STARS - The nose is very fresh and intense. Tightly bound and refined, showing moderately pungent passionfruit and gooseberry aromas along with ripe tropical fruits and minerals. Dry to taste, this wine has pure lime and passionfruit flavours, still tightly held, but with excellent concentration. Crisp, racy acidity provides steeliness, very elegant and detailed, the palate is long and sustained, with subtle sweetness and minerally nuances. A fresh, pure and intense wine that will become richer over the next two plus years - Match with shellfish or antipasto.
