Lawson’s Dry Hills PINK Pinot 2023

Spiritually, the mandala pattern is said to help transform ordinary minds into enlightened ones, while the shape symbolises balance and perfection. Pink represents compassion and glamour while silver is said to restore balance. Our 2023 PINK has a delicate pink hue. The nose on this wine offers pronounced, attractive strawberry and raspberry notes while the expressive palate has plenty of berry and citrus flavours leading to a crisp, dry finish.

Vineyards and viticulture

Made predominantly from Pinot Noir grown at our Chaytors Road vineyard, the gravel soils and coastal influence produce grapes with ripe, bright and fruity characters ideal for this wine.

Winemaking

The grapes for this wine were harvested on the 15th of March at 22 brix and in perfect condition. They were pressed immediately, and the skins taken off the juice straight away to minimise colour influence and ensure a lovely, pale pink.

Food Pairing

Mixed platters, cured meats, olives, young cheeses, spicy dishes – pretty much anything and everything!
