Made from selected fruit from our Waihopai Valley (65%) Awatere Valley (20%) and Wairau Valley (15%) vineyards, this intense wine gives a powerful expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. A lifted nose with enticing citrus aromas together with passionfruit and a flinty, mineral character. The palate is concentrated and weighty with added complexity from a portion of wild ferment in puncheons (500 litre French oak barrels).
Cellar for up to four years.
Vegan friendly wine – Wonderful with a Greek salad, seafood dishes, oysters, fresh green herbs, tomato-based sauces and of course, fresh Marlborough green-lipped mussels.
