LDH Estate – For everyday enjoyment, the wines offer an authentic representation of both the grape variety and where it is grown. This is achieved through a variety of vineyard management techniques and minimal handling in the winery. LDH Reserve – Perfect for any occasion when something a bit special is called for, this range is crafted from select vineyards and parcels of fruit that show distinctive characteristics. Winemaking might include the use of oak, indigenous yeasts, lees-stirring or other techniques, resulting in wines that while true to the varietal, have a deeper level of complexity. When available, why not pop in our Late Harvest offering, to add a dessert treat. The Pioneer – Wines that are very special and of limited release. Only produced in outstanding years, the grapes are hand-picked from small vineyard parcels and the ensuing wines very much handcrafted using special techniques. Blind River – Our Single Vineyard wine from the Awatere Valley. A unique site that gives expressive characters to the wines, these wines are highly aromatic, intense and textural with an underlying minerality.
