Rich, mouth-filling and spicy with apple pie, fresh pear and honey notes on the nose. This is a characterful wine with lovely texture, rich, intense flavours and a sliver of sweetness which is balanced by a gentle acidity.

A perfect match with creamy pasta dishes, poultry, seafood and cheeses or try with roast pork with a stewed pear sauce.

Late-picked, the 2015 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts in old French oak casks. Light lemon/green, it is scented and slightly honeyed with a mouthfilling body and an array of peach, pear, spice, lychee and honey flavours. An off-dry style (14 grams/litre of residual sugar) with good complexity. it should be at its best mid 2018+

Richer, creamier and sweet than the regular label with a hint of toffee, guava, poached pear, anise and spice. A delicately luscious wine in an appealing style. Serve well chilled as a great aperitif or with moderately spicy dishes.
