THE PIONEER PINOT NOIR 2020

  This wine has a lovely deep burgundy hue. The aromatics centre around red berry fruit with a hint of black cherry and some vanilla and mocha barrel notes. The palate is elegant and refined while offering lovely power and concentration, and great length of flavour.

Roast New Zealand lamb with rosemary and garlic is a brilliant pairing, but also other red meats, pork and game. Lawson’s Dry Hills is the closest winery to Blenheim town centre.

We welcome you to our cellar door seven days a week from 10am – 4.30pm in summer – closed on public holidays. From April 15 until Labour Day our cellar door will be open weekdays – closed on weekends and public holidays. Although not essential, during our busy summer months (Oct – March) we do recommend booking your tasting, just give us a call or email to book in.

Whilst we’re delighted you enjoy our wine, we recommend you do so in moderation.
