New Zealand’s most sustainably certified wine producer

Cellar Door

Welcome

You’ll always receive a warm welcome at our home on Alabama Road

Lawson’s Dry Hills Reserve wines are open for you to taste and often something else a little bit special, such as one of our limited Pioneer wines, or a wine from Blind River. Tastings are $10 per person, but this is waived if you make a bottle purchase.

Pick your own platter with a range of local cheeses, cured meats, paté and salmon; or bring your own picnic and enjoy with a glass of our wine. The picturesque courtyard affords views of our famous hills – the ones that are on our label – and you can see the original illustration hanging on the cellar door wall.

As the closest cellar door to Blenheim town centre, come and visit us with your friends and family. You can even charge your EV as we have a charging station especially for our cellar door visitors.

Opening hours

In summer, we open late October to the end of March, welcoming you seven days per week 10.00am-4.30pm (except for public holidays)!

We welcome you to join us for ‘Vinyl in the Vines’ at our winery courtyard 18 January 2-6pm. We are expecting a big crowd grooving to the DJ sounds, so tastings maybe limited. We will have wine by the glass, bottle and Boomtown Beers available. Learn more here.

Over winter we’re open Monday to Friday, 10.00am-4.30pm. Closed weekends and public holidays.

Although not essential, during our busy summer months we do recommend booking your tasting, just give us a call on 03 578 7674 to book or email us.
