Lawson’s Dry Hills has made the decision to leave current distributor, EuroVintage, and partner with Nelson-based Kahurangi Estate.
LDH General Manager, Sion Barnsley said, “We have enjoyed working with the EuroVintage team and will be sorry to end the co-operative and friendly relationship, but we feel it’s time to work with a smaller company where we can add value as one of only two New Zealand wine brands.”
He continues, “We’re keen to get back to grass-roots sales and building direct relationships with customers with a smaller, ‘hands-on’ team.”
Also commenting on the move, Kahurangi Estate Managing Director, David Barrett said, “We are delighted to work with the team at Lawson’s. The wines are outstanding, and our team is very excited to offer such a respected brand alongside Kahurangi.”
Existing stockists of the Lawson’s Dry Hills brand can continue purchasing from EuroVintage until 30 April, with Kahurangi Estate officially taking over national distribution from 1 May.
Recipient of the 2023 New Zealand International Business Award ‘Excellence in Sustainability’, Lawson’s Dry Hills wines are certified 100% sustainable and the company is a Toitū certified net carbonzero producer.
