Groovy Beats and fine wine on Marlborough’s best day out

In the leadup to Marlborough’s biggest event of the year, the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival, William Woodworth from the Marlborough Weekly chats to Belinda Jackson about what to expect. Belinda is the brainchild behind Vinyl in the Vines, playing in the Groove Garden this year.

Having been to every festival since 2003 (and a couple before that), Belinda shares tips on where to head, what to taste and what the DJ’s have in store at the Groove Garden. She also mentions the wonderful Ranu, a co-ferment of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. First made in 2017 to commemorate 25 vintages of Lawson’s Dry Hills, 2023 is only the third time we have been able to make this extraordinary wine. Come for a taste at our site #31, in the Groove Garden, next to the DJ’s.
